The Everec ME1 1-channel digital video recorder is one of the smallest video recorders on the market for mobile use. It has long lasting battery power and a high quality of image and audio recording.
The unit can only be used with the Everec range of bullet and pinhole cameras. The cameras are however powered directly from the ME1 unit so there is only one cable connecting the recorder to the camera.
Video footage is recorded in MPEG4 format (25fps at 720x576 resolution). Video can be played back on a built-in 1.5" colour screen. Battery life is impressive for such a small unit with 10 hours on standby and 2.5 hours of continuous recording.
Video footage is recorded onto a standard CF card. The units weight is 280g including battery and storage media.
The ME1 has a number of options in terms of cameras for it, all with the special ME1 connector:
- 480 TV line bullet camera with audio
- Black & white pinhole camera with audio
